Coffee plantations were introduced to East Timor by the Portuguese Colonists in 1815. Much has changed since then, but the coffee is grown in much the same way then as now. Hand grown and picked on small, family owned farms. The patience and care these family farmers shines through in every cup. We love the rich chocolate aroma, fig sweetness, and smooth finish that Maubesse brings to the table.
